What is Amplify?
Amplify is a collaborative, campus-wide effort to help first-year freshman, transfer and sophomore Aggies gain the skills and become aware of resources to help them overcome challenges they may face throughout their time in Aggieland and to make the most of their Texas A&M experience.
Through various out-of-classroom programs and workshops presented by faculty, staff and other students from across campus, it is our goal that students will:
- Become familiar with campus
- Become engaged in the academic community
- Discover resources and develop skills necessary for academic and personal success at Texas A&M
- Plan for their academic and professional future
- Discover and appreciate the value of diversity
- Develop positive and meaningful relationships with university faculty, advisors, staff and peers
- Make responsible choices regarding their safety, health and well-being
